The Expedition Wise company is divided into five small business areas that each focus on providing a range of high quality professional services. The business areas are outlined below.
Expedition Wise Training
Provides both specialist adult Pre-Expedition Training weekends for all expedition participants on both trekking and cycle challenges and Navigation Training weekends.
Expedition Wise Medical
Provides a wide range of First Aid Courses that cover all interest levels from the 1 day appointed person through to the 4 day HSE First Aid at Work certificate. Specialist courses are also available such as AED Training, Medical Gases Training and High Altitude Medicine Training. Provides Event Medical Cover for all outdoor events such as UK charity walks and bike rides, competition moto cross, mountain bike races etc.
Expedition Wise UK Challenges
Runs UK based challenges for both individulas and charities. These include: The Welsh 3000ers Challenge, The 3 Peaks Challenge, The Snowdon Horseshoe Challenge and The Great Glen Cycle Challenge. Provides logistical support to both charities and companies wishing to run their own UK Challenges.
Expedition Wise Consultancy
Offers Expedition Companies and all other companies running operations overseas the opportunity to use services such as Medical Support and Advice, Incident Management Training, Health and Safety Support with risk assessments and emergency response plans, and Expedition Leadership.
Expedition Wise Photography
Produces sets of exceptional greeting cards with images from around the world, in support of the charity, Ovacome.
